.The photo shows a Jamaican Elaenia (locally "Sarah Bird") with the normally-hidden, orange-yellow crown patch clearly visible.

Like all of Jamaica's endemic wildlife, it is protected by the Wildlife Protection Act.

 photo of Elaenia wingtip And here you can see the notched primary feathers, which "no doubt" have something to do with enhancing manoeuvrability at high angles of attack. I need to check this out!
