GALES VALLEY

 Gales Valley (like nearby Hampden Estate) appears to straddle the borber between St James and Trelawny. It was originally owned by William Gale (whence the name) who also owned York.
I believe the house is presently owned by the Farquharsons of Hampden.

 

 

 

 
The original Gales Valley sugar factory was removed stone by stone and donated by the Hampden owners to the University at Mona, where it was reassembled as the Chapel.
