Windsor Research Centre (WRC) is pleased to have received a grant from the National Forest Programme Facility to support the community participation in our Forest Restoration Project at Linton Park Mountain. The main purpose of the grant was to involve the local community, Duanvale, in a research programme to determine the feasibility of creating a sustainable, native forest through their participation in the design and implementation of its set-up.

Informal Community Meetings phot

We held a series of 5 Informal Community Meetings (see report) to mobilise interest: These were held in the street, outside strategically located business places, and were well-attended by local community members.
